Workplace Literacy Fund - What do new TEC rules mean for employers?

The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has recently changed its rules around the Workplace Literacy Fund. Employers are no longer required to make a 15% contribution to Literacy and Numeracy training.

What does this mean for your business?

It means that your business is no longer required to make a financial contribution to Literacy and Numeracy training - instead your ‘contribution’ is made by allowing your employees time off to take part in training.

Your organisation may be eligible to receive TEC funding to cover a workplace literacy programme and an initial needs analysis.

Skills4Work has a dedicated Literacy and Numeracy team that can take care of this process for you.
