Maintenance and Reliability

This course will give your maintenance technicians key skills in the area of maintenance excellence.  The focus is on progressing maintenance in a structured way from reactive and preventative to predictive and proactive methods.  We show how to monitor and analyse plant and equipment data to make positive changes to your maintenance practices.

Course content includes:

  • Identification of how equipment deteriorates
  • Applying standards to maintenance activities
  • Applications of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
  • Failure Modes effects and critical analysis
  • Using structured decision logic to analyse current, and determine future, maintenance tactics
  • Condition monitoring techniques

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

This course will give your workforce the ability to analyse your current planning and scheduling, and identify areas for improvement.  Planning and scheduling are often overlooked but have the potential to greatly improve maintenance efficiency.  We show how to optimise your planning and scheduling to create the time you need for higher level maintenance.

Course content includes:

  • How to free up technicians time with more effective planning and scheduling
  • Understanding the work management business process and sub processes
  • Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Work orders and scope of work
  • Shutdown planning and management
  • Project planning and management
  • Developing charts for identifying critical paths, slack in the plan, and identifying resources
